Mindy is a board certified, registered art psychotherapist, and licensed professional counselor specializing in trauma, eating disorders, and body image. She received the Delaware Valley Art Therapy Association prestigious Honorary Life Member award in 1996, and is especially interested in helping children, adolescents and adults use art to express their feelings and improve the quality of their lives.
Mindy has maintained a private practice in PA & NJ since 1980, and has numerous publications including Finding Your Voice through Creativity: The Art and Journaling Workbook for Disordered Eating (Gϋrze Books, 2010), and Guidelines for Treating Dissociative Identity Disorder in Adults (International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation, 2005 & 2011). Mindy is an adjunct faculty member at Drexel University, and supervises graduate art therapy students and professional art therapists. She is an Aetna and Medicare provider, and provides out of network treatment as well.
Mindy is complimented by her therapy dog Colin, a ten year old Havanese. He is often in the office “helping out!”
